Accessibility

Cefalea should remain usable during a headache, when bright light, motion, sound, concentration, or precise interaction may be difficult. Accessibility is therefore part of the product’s core behavior—not a final compliance pass.

Current design commitments

• System text styles and Dynamic Type for adjustable text sizes.
• VoiceOver labels and meaningful reading order for primary actions.
• Comfortable touch targets and alternatives to gesture-only actions.
• Light and dark appearances with semantic colors.
• Reduced animation when Reduce Motion is enabled.
• No information communicated by color alone.
• Direct language and progressive disclosure to reduce cognitive load.

Work still in progress

Cefalea is being modernized and has not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit. Every release should be tested with VoiceOver, larger accessibility text sizes, Bold Text, increased contrast, Reduce Motion, and Reduce Transparency.
